I just wanted to tell you that your show on Saturday was outstanding! I’m not even a particularly big fan of Star Trek, but the show was so much fun that I found myself both wanting to be involved next year and also wanting to watch some old Star Trek episodes.

Thanks for such a fun evening!

We attended the July 11th show and enjoyed it immensely, however we didn’t bring enough cash to purchase a T-shirt. Is there a way of purchasing a XXL shirt from you all through the website?
My family and I haven’t had that much fun at an outdoor show in a long time, looking forward to seeing you all again next summer.

I would love to see Trek In The Park but I’m all the way on the other side of the country. Does Trek In The Park have any plans to Trek across the country? Perhaps a five year mission, seeking out new life and new audiences? To boldly go where no Star Trek play has gone before? ooooOOOOOO aaaahhhhh .. … seriously… please add me to your email list. I want to see your production when you’re out here. If not… maybe I’ll Trek out there for next year’s play.

“I intend to take this show!” “DO YOU AGREE?!”

  1. AA,

    Awesome, incredible, spectacular job!

Just wanted to let you know how much my whole family enjoyed the shows on 7-31 and 8-1. Onces wasn’t enough, so we had to come back for an encore. I’m sure you guys have already seen plenty of pictures from your performances, but I’ve included a link to my Flickr site if you’d like to see some more.

Will tickets be required for the 8-29 show?

  2. I’ll give you Floyd (or Rush) laser show tickets for a role as a redshirt in your next Trek production … ???

First time in Portland last weekend, visiting from BC, Canada. Saw your show on 7/31st and thoroughly enjoyed it! Keep up the good work, we’ll be back to see more.

    Fabulous, fabulous, fabulous.

If you take requests, I would vote for Tribbles and you could sell off the little beasties after the last performance.

Visiting my daughter and we caught the show. It was great! I plan on making sure my next summers visit is planned so we can see the 2011 performance. One thing. I really wanted to buy a t-shirt, but you didn’t have my size. Is there a way I can purchase one in XL?

just wanted to know if i could drop off or show you some stuff from work that might work as props for your next production. i had noticed that your actors just used a plastic syringe , but i have some plastic pieces from the Medical lab, that i work in, that might work better.

    thanks carol

PHENOMENAL! SPECTACULAR! OUT OF THIS WORLD! You guys were incredible today! We saw the episode “Mirror, Mirror” today at Woodlawn Park and were blown out of this universe with the acting, the humor, the absolute FUN of the whole experience!! I’ve been a fan of Star Trek since the age of 9 months and I can genuinely say that today’s performance was easily my most memorable ST experience! Thank you, Atomic Arts, for an outstanding job in every single aspect, from the acting and the locale to the props, sound effects, and the natural flow of the whole production. Had a chance to speak with both “Dr. McCoy” and “Chekov” (Sorry, guys, didn’t bring home a program so don’t know your real names. My apologies!). Both actors were over the top in kindness and willingness to both take photos and chat about the play as well as favorite ST episodes. Still can’t stand the thought that I’ve missed the first two years! Can’t wait ’till 2012!! You guys ROCK!!

I loved the performance and have worked with a few different film crews and just wanted to know if there was someway I could help. I think The Savage Curtain would be do able, however, you’d have to change what part of the park you performed in.

  3. I come from Portland, Oregon and had a chance to see your show a couple of years ago. Now I live in New York City and my sister is boasting about seeing your show today. Do you have any plans to come to New York City? Please say yes! I would even host one of you! And just to let you know, I’m not a scary weirdo. I am friends with Heather Tomlin who I understand is a friend of Uhura’s. She can vouch for me.

noooooo! don’t leave woodlawn next year…….you nailed it with the phrase “woodlawn’s unexplored potential”………have you considered facing the other way, and letting the people in the lawn be the “main audience”? also, how about some kids sized t-shirts?

  4. Congratulations on the CBS Sunday Morning segment!!!! I’m right in Bend and have been to the Goonie’s 25th Anniversary in Astoria but had no idea “you guys” had created this wonderful Trek homage. I’ll no longer drag my feet moving to Portland in hopes of becoming Marge’s apprentice and friend. Live long and prosper (and tell me where I can donate fabric and I have a merchandise idea that can help offset costs!)

Fabulous show! It sounded from your ending comments that next year would be your last. Say it isn’t so!!! I know I would certainly pay for a ticket to these performances, and if there had been a donation bucket going around or a raffle or something I would have pitched in. We have just found out about this wonderful event, and would be very sad if next summer were the last one!!!

  5. Atomics,

Great job, as always. I got one shot of the whole crew that I think sums up the whole experience very nicely. Thought you might like to see it. Here’s the link.

    Looking forward to next year!
