Awesome!! I wish I lived in Portland for this. Will you travel to Seattle?

  1. FANTASTIC!!! Your love of the material shows through even with the cheesy dialogue and minimal sets. Looking forward to next year. Any chance of interesting you in a Portland production of Klingon Christmas Carol?

  2. This was fantastic1 I’ll definitely be there next year. My sincerest thanks and heartfelt congratulations to everyone!

Someone posted this link on Facebook, and I realized you were performing during my visit from South Carolina.. Thanks for doing this, we certainly don’t have anything quite this cool back home. I attended the show on July 24 and had a blast !!! Thanks for all you do.
I have tried to spread the word. When I get back out there, I will certainly be in the audience again.

Hey group! Great show! Wow, what a crowd turned out for the final performance! Loved the costumes and the characters all created. Nice redshirt moments, too. :D The sound is awesome, from the sung theme song to all of the sound effects and scene setting music. Also love the shirts with the tree-logos on them. I missed getting one at the show, but if they were sold via your site, would likely buy one! And lastly in the fawning category: great tease for next year. Looks awesome!

Suggestions for next year: 1. body mics? I know, they’re a million dollars and a big hassle and if it rains, forget it. So it might be more trouble than it’s worth to even investigate. 2. Stage orientation. I don’t know if the venue would allow for it, but if you turned the action toward the expanse of the park and used the area behind the walkway for your stage, that’d allow more of the folks who have gathered to see the show be a part of the action. Then the treed area could still be your prep/backstage/sound section but the orientation of the stage would shift outward.

I like Star Trek but was dragged kicking and screaming to see Trek in the Park perform “Space Seed”. I was afraid it would be a terrible spoof of an old favorite that I grew up with. (Yes, I saw the first episode aired.) Wow, was I wrong! It was incredibly good fun! Tightly directed, well acted and lovingly presented with minimalist props and sets. The production manages to capture the inherent humor in the very dated script without resorting to making fun of it. Well done everyone! I can’t wait to see next years production.
